Puradigm and SaphaiAir – for safer indoor air quality (IAQ)

Rock Compliance is the UK distributor of Puradigm and SaphaiAir clean air units, which remove airborne contamination for a safer environment.

Airborne pathogens are invisible and have no smell or taste. However, these tiny, invisible assassins are abundant in the air around us, creating a complex mixture of biological contaminants like bacteria, fungi, viruses, algae, insects, and their by-products such as endotoxins, mycotoxins and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

Humans spend around 90% of their time indoors. With this in mind, it is important to keep indoor air as pure as possible. This is particularly important around vulnerable populations, such as school children, hospital patients, and the elderly.

Effective ventilation helps to keep pathogens out of the air, making it safer to breathe. As specialists in air hygiene and air hygiene compliance, this is where we come in.

Puradigm – air purification for larger public spaces

Puradigm technology is effective against SARS-CoV-2 (the virus responsible for COVID-19). It significantly minimises the risk of employees/guests/visitors contracting or spreading SARS-CoV-2 within the workplace. It is also effective against H1N1, E.coli, MRSA, Listeria, c difficile, staph, and many more.

Puradigm clean air units are ideal for larger public spaces such as school halls, hospital waiting rooms, open plan offices and lecture theatres. The scalable units actively and safely purify both air and surfaces in any room. They can be customised for indoor spaces of all sizes, including homes, offices, schools, restaurants, gyms, hospital, universities, retail, care homes, food processing facilities and more.

Puradigm’s patented technology is unique. Safe, validated and highly effective, it works by using ambient air to generate ionisation and high energy clusters that physically kill bacteria and viruses and eliminate mould and VOCs. Units are compact and almost silent. Crucially, they operate while people are in the room – all you have to do is plug the unit in and it is ready to go.

The Puradigm unit operates continuously, unlike other disinfection technologies such as chemical cleaning, UV light or vaporised hydrogen peroxide. There are no downtime periods, chemical handling procedures, harmful residues, room clearance protocols, manpower requirements or adverse side effects. Units can be installed in occupied rooms or in ventilation ductwork, operate 24/7 and are affordable, quick to set up, and cheap to run.

Puradigm technology:

  • Effective against COVID – within just 15 minutes of use, levels of the COVID virus are reduced by 73.33%. After 24 hours, the virus is undetectable
  • Affordable – units start at just £1,000 and cost roughly the same to run as a lightbulb
  • Compact and portable – easily positioned wherever needed
  • Quick and easy to install and maintain – simply plug in and turn on
  • Almost silent – the unit will not disrupt the working environment
  • Safe – there are no dangerous moving parts and no chemicals
SaphaiAir – clean air in any room

For smaller spaces, such as classrooms, hospital rooms, hotel rooms, GP waiting rooms and nursing homes, the SaphaiAir air purification unit is the perfect option, delivering cleanroom grade air within just one hour.

Each HEPA filter in the unit has a unique anti-microbial coating that kills microbes or inhibits their growth. The coating forms a series of spikes, which are positively charged on the tip. Since bacteria are negatively charged, they are attracted to the spikes, which pierce and kill them. The coating is not depleted with use.

SaphaiAir clean air technology:

  • Kills all microbes – traps and kills 99.95% of bacteria, viruses and moulds
  • Plug in and turn on – No assembly or installation
  • Compact and portable – easily positioned wherever needed
  • Low energy costs – powered by a 44watt motor, equivalent to a bulb, can be left on 24/7
  • Almost silent – the unit will not disrupt the working environment
  • Safe – there are no dangerous moving parts and no chemicals
Can you breathe easy?

If you could see the airborne pathogens in that breath you took while reading this sentence, you’d be shocked.

Bacteria and viruses get into the air very easily. When someone sneezes or coughs, tiny water or mucous droplets filled with viruses and bacteria scatter in the air. They then spread either by being inhaled by other people or landing on surfaces, such as door handles. The risk is particularly high in crowded or poorly ventilated areas.

Coronavirus has brought the issue of indoor air quality to the public attention. The World Health Authority’s latest advice on coronavirus transmission focusses on the dangers of inhaling airborne droplets rather than touching contaminated surfaces. With this in mind, it is clearly important to keep indoor air as clean as possible to avoid transmission of pathogens.

Team Rock is here to clear the air, with Puradigm and SaphaiAir air purification technology.
