At Rock Compliance, we want to help you down the road to compliance in your air, water, M&E, pre-commissioning and commissioning requirements.
Our Ventilation Systems Risk Awareness training course is designed for managers, specifiers and persons responsible for health and safety and the general wellbeing of building users and occupants.
The course is half-day (approximately four hours) and costs from £175 (+VAT) per delegate, inclusive of course notes. A certificate is awarded on completion. It can be delivered on-site or at a location to suit you.
The course also covers the requirements to minimise the risk of fire and the need for testing and maintenance including passive fire barriers (fire stopping) and compartmentation associated with ventilation system fire damper installations and maintenance.
The Ventilation Systems Risk Awareness course is delivered by Paul Downing, our Head of Faculty (Air). Paul is a hugely respected name in air and water compliance. He is a Senior Member of the Water Management Society (MWMSoc) and a Member of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM).
One of Paul’s key achievements as a member of the HVCA was developing and co-authoring TR17 (now BESA TR19) Guide to Good Practice – Internal Cleanliness of Ventilation Systems, recognised as the ventilation hygiene industry benchmark.
Paul was also on the Department of Education’s T Level panel, responsible for Building Services Engineering qualification content. More recently, he attained third party IFSM training for fire and smoke damper maintenance.
Paul’s experience and dedication fits in perfectly with Rock Compliance’s commitment to minimising risk, delivering compliance, and making it simple.
