⭐ Spotlight on… Harry Hughes, FP&A Manager

We’re shining a spotlight on Harry Hughes, our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager. FP&A covers the planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical activities that support a company’s major business decisions and overall financial health.

Harry has a degree in Maths and did his internship with Deloitte. He joined us in July 2024 as a Finance Business Partner and just a year later was promoted to his current role. Since we became part of andwis Group, Harry has been splitting his time across the Rock Compliance and Central teams, which has provided great exposure to different parts of the business and a wide breadth of work.

He’s currently working on three major projects, taking us forward into the next stage of our growth:
• Working cross-functionally with our IT and Operations teams to build a contract profitability and utilisation model, improving visibility over job-level margins and operational efficiency
• Assisting with the ongoing integration with Water Hygiene Services Group, including aligning reporting, processes, and performance tracking across the combined group
• Enhancing departmental reporting and forecasting processes, improving the quality, consistency, and timeliness of insights to aid better decision-making

Harry says, “I’ve particularly enjoyed being involved in the integration and understanding how the combined business will operate going forward, and I’m excited about continuing to support the integration journey and what that entails as the business evolves. Helping to scale and develop the FP&A function across the Environmental Services division as the group continues to grow is a really exciting challenge too.”
