WELCOME TO ROCK COMPLIANCE LONDON

Rock Compliance London is an administrative office. Our Leadership Team is based in the London office, and our regular board meetings are held here.

But don’t for one minute think this is any less of a Team Rock base! Our Leadership Team is very hands-on and absolutely committed to developing and implementing the processes and policies that empower everyone at Rock Compliance to deliver the outstanding customer service we pride ourselves on.

We want to be the No.1 compliance provider in the UK, and the work that goes on at Rock Compliance London is going to help us get there.

Why we love London…

What’s not to love?! London is an amazing capital city, and we are very proud to have an office here. Since Roman times, London’s position on the River Thames has made it an important trading centre, and it just keeps getting busier and better.

We offer compliance services to the construction sector, particularly pre-commissioning and commissioning, so we thought we’d have a look at three of the construction projects currently underway in the big city:

  • Google HQ, Kings Cross – Sometimes called a ‘landscaper’ because this 330m long development is longer than the Shard (if you lay the Shard down on its side), the biggest new development in King’s Cross is the new HQ for tech-giant Google. The finished offices are said to have basketball courts, rooftop walking trails and nap pods. Google is expected to move into the £1bn development in 2024.
  • 55 Bishopsgate, City of London – This project aims to build one of the tallest buildings in London – the developers have plans for a 285 metre high structure. It’s going to have its own sky garden too, the design of which will draw on the Fibonacci sequence (a series of numbers in which the next number is found by adding up the two numbers before it – 1,1,2,3,5,8 etc…)
  • Highline Park, Camden – This project takes its inspiration from New York’s Highline park. Developers are taking over a segment of disused overground rail track and revamping the space to provide a strip of public gardens 1.2km long.  The project is completely crowdfunded.

Interesting fact

London was once the capital of six countries at the same time. How could that be? Well, in World War II, London served as the governing capital for other European countries that had been conquered by Germany. The leaders of Norway, Poland, Belgium, France, and The Netherlands stayed in London between 1939 and 1945.
