Legionella Control Association (LCA)

Legionella control is a key part of the activities undertaken by our water hygiene team. We are experts on the risks surrounding this dangerous waterborne bacteria, and we work hard to ensure our customers are compliant with HSE and other legislation around legionella, keeping hospitals, care homes, offices, leisure centres, shopping malls and all other buildings safe for staff, residents and visitors.

Rock Compliance is glad to be a longstanding member of the Legionella Control Association, a voluntary organisation whose membership comprises providers of services and products concerned with the control of legionella bacteria in water systems. Its primary aim is to keep water systems safe and minimise the risk of cases of Legionnaires’ disease caused by poorly maintained systems by sharing expertise and best practice.

The LCA has nine service provider commitments. The code requires service providers to draw up a statement of compliance addressing each commitment and to establish and maintain appropriate management systems for those services that they offer associated with the control of legionella.

When you see that we are a member of the LCA, you know that we have the documented capability and commitment that are essential when dealing with this important and potentially life-threatening issue.
