Ventilation Systems Risk Awareness Training

Our Ventilation Systems Risk Awareness training course is designed for managers, specifiers, maintenance teams, and persons responsible for health and safety and the general wellbeing of building users and occupants.

The course

Course modules include the legislative requirements and standards relating to:

  1.  General air handling and ventilation ductwork systems hygiene
  2.  Kitchen grease extract ductwork systems fire risk
  3.  Local exhaust ventilation (LEV) testing

The course also covers the requirements to minimise the risk of fire and the need for inspection, testing and maintenance of ventilation systems, fire damper installations, and associated passive fire barriers (fire stopping) and penetration seals.

A certificate is awarded on completion of training.
