When a national funeral home was left without hot water, our Remedials team was on hand to help. We replaced the Cat 5 water tank and installed a new hot water system, bringing the funeral home in line with WRAS guidelines and up to regulations on backflow protection.

Water is the primary component in the embalming process, used to mix and carry various chemicals throughout the vascular system of the deceased. This meant that our engineers had to keep water downtime to an absolute minimum. They also had to work with flexibility and sensitivity to ensure their presence and activity didn’t disrupt the removal of bodies for funerals.
