As International Womenโs Day approaches, we celebrate one our Rising Rock Stars, Sophie Underhay ๐ฉโ๐ฆฐ๐๐
Sophie started her career at Rock Compliance in early 2018, as a Sales Administrator managing contract renewals and supporting the preparation of quotations for non-conformances and Legionella Risk Assessments.
From there, she progressed through roles in Account Management and Project Management, where she supported our Director of Business Improvement on key initiatives. She then became National Client Services Manager, leading the harmonisation of client services processes, before moving into her current role as Head of Projects in February 2025.
As Head of Projects, Sophie leads our Continuous Improvement programme (formerly Business Improvement), supporting colleagues across the business to deliver transformational projects, while also working on mergers and acquisitions integration projects.
She says, โI’m proud of staying resilient and positive, even when work has been challenging. Balancing high-pressure projects while continuing to learn and improve has been a big personal achievement. I see myself building deeper expertise in project delivery and integration, and using that experience to support strategic decisions across the business.โ
Our HR Manager, Klaudia Beauchamp, speaks for us all when she says, โOn International Women’s Day, weโre proud to recognise the talented women shaping our organisation at every level. Today, 32% of our management roles are held by women leaders, helping us guide our teams, strategy and culture. As we continue to grow through our new relationship with Oracle Solutions Asbestos and Water Hygiene Services Group, weโre excited to see more progression, as at the heart of this is our commitment to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone has the opportunity and support to thrive.”
