Emergency Asbestos Response

The Situation

Following a serious incident at an industrial site in Central London, a globally recognised utility provider required urgent confirmation of asbestos risk and immediate specialist support. Asbestos contamination was a primary concern due to the age and nature of the site.

As a long-standing partner, Oracle Solutions Asbestos was contacted to assess the situation and establish a safe, compliant response.

Our Response

At 6:00pm, Oracle Solution’s emergency response line received the call. Recognising the urgency, our director and a senior surveyor were mobilised immediately.

Within 30 minutes, the team was enroute. By 7:30pm, our personnel were on site, working alongside emergency services to safely access affected areas and undertake asbestos sampling. All works were carried out in accordance with relevant safety protocols and site controls.

Samples were analysed as a priority to establish the extent of any asbestos contamination.

The Outcome

By Friday morning, results confirmed the presence of asbestos-containing materials. Oracle Solutions developed a clear, compliant removal strategy without delay.

Specialist removal teams were mobilised and on site by Saturday morning. Works were carefully planned and executed to secure the site, remove asbestos safely and minimise disruption.

Within three days, the site was made safe and ready for operations to resume.
