Spotlight on Sarah Letts

👩🏻 In the first of our 🌟Spotlight On🌟 posts, we’re going to hear from Sarah Letts, Learning and Development Manager, about what her role involves. Sarah only joined us a few weeks ago, but as you’ll hear, she’s already made a huge difference to the way we work.

“My average day is very varied, working on diverse projects centred around people development and engagement. This can range from identifying learning needs and skills gaps, creating and sourcing learning materials, or delivering learning interventions. It’s my role to think strategically, identifying where learning and development can enhance the success and growth of our business, and create and embed a learning offer for all levels of the business.

“A big project I’m currently working on is engaging our teams in performance development and relaunching and restructuring our PDR processes and tools. I’m educating our teams on how to effectively set both business and personal objectives that will really make a difference, while also creating a continual feedback culture where they feel informed, empowered and engaged.

“One thing I’m really proud is the introduction of our Rock Compliance Culture Wheel, which has already been very well received. By giving some clarity and structure around our mission, enablers and values, our teams are engaged in what we stand for as a business, supporting one of our key objectives of being the Best Place to Work. I’m excited to see how further embedding these ideas will drive innovation and creativity, engaging our teams to consistently live and breathe our business ideals and use them as a guide to drive the business forward”
