Closed loop pre-treatment flushing (CPC)

Closed loop pre-treatment flushing (CPC) is a methodology of cleaning pipework by ensuring that systems are filled with an appropriate closed circuit scale and corrosion inhibitor from the very first fill.

The CLC process allows the iron pipework to passivate as soon as water is introduced to the water system. The system is then circulated through sidestream filtration. Engineers check the velocities of various parts of the system to move debris back to the sidestream equipment.

The benefits of our CPC process

This process is less aggressive than traditional flushing methods and also minimises water discharge. It has several other key benefits that give it an advantage over traditional flushing:

  • Minimal discharge of water
  • Less aggressive
  • Timesaving and requires reduced labour
  • Reduced microbiological contamination by managing contamination during the process
  • Suitable for all steel pipework
Closed Loop Pre-Treatment Flushing CPC

We believe in offering our customers the most up-to-date, technologically advanced solutions. To achieve this, Rock Compliance engineers are trained to employ a number of techniques to carry out closed loop pre-treatment flushing, including:

Hydrosphere®

Rock Compliance is a licensed Hydrosphere® contractor and can undertake the cleaning of a closed water system using the Hydrosphere® process.

The Hydrosphere® process is a time-saving alternative to regular flushing procedures, as it avoids the needs for a biocide wash and backflushing of terminal units. This means that it enables pre-commissioning cleaning of systems with minimal water consumption and effluent discharge, offering benefits where there are constraints on water supply and drainage.

Dosafil®

Rock Compliance is a licensed Dosafil® contractor and can undertake a closed water system cleaning using the Dosafil® process.

The Dosafil® process offers a time-saving alternative to regular flushing procedures, because it does not require biocide wash and back-flushing of terminal units. This enables pre-commissioning cleaning of systems with minimal water consumption and effluent discharge, which is beneficial where there are constraints on water supply and drainage.
