Team Rock welcomes Paul Downing

We are delighted to welcome Paul Downing to the Rock Compliance team.  Paul is joining us as Head of Faculty (Air).  His name will already be familiar to many of you, as he has had a long and distinguished career in air and water compliance.  One of his key achievements as a member of the HVCA was developing and co-authoring TR17 (now BESA TR19) Guide to Good Practice – Internal Cleanliness of Ventilation Systems, recognised as the ventilation hygiene industry benchmark.

Paul was also on the Department of Education’s T Level panel, responsible for Building Services Engineering qualification content, scheduled for delivery in September 2021.  More recently, he attained third party training certification for fire and smoke damper maintenance.  Paul is a senior member of the Water Management Society (WMSoc).  He is also a member of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM) and the UK Fire Association.
